About the Role
At Klima Global General Trading LLC, you will work hands‑on with VRF/VRV systems (Toshiba SMMS‑e preferred) from rough‑in to handover. You’ll execute piping per OEM rules, conduct nitrogen pressure tests, pull deep vacuum with a micron gauge, charge by weight, wire and address units, and commission the system using OEM tools (e.g., Toshiba Wave Tool / NFC) and service software. Your discipline in documentation, safety, and client communication will help us deliver projects right the first time.
Why Join Klima Global?
Complex projects: Work on premium, multi‑tenant and hospitality jobs with advanced controls/BMS.
OEM exposure: Hands‑on with leading VRF platforms and commissioning utilities.
Growth path: Clear progression to Senior VRF Technician / Commissioning Lead.
Supportive culture: Toolbox talks, checklists, and mentoring from experienced engineers.
Key Responsibilities
Install and commission VRF/VRV systems (Toshiba preferred), including outdoor units, indoor units, and branch/BC controllers.
Interpret shop drawings/isometrics; follow OEM piping rules (oil traps, elevation changes, allowable length/height, branch ratios, diversity).
Route, support, and insulate copper piping; perform brazing with nitrogen purge and high‑quality flares; verify proper torque on flare nuts.
Perform nitrogen pressure tests to OEM specification; hold test and record results; leak‑trace and rectify.
Pull deep vacuum and verify with a micron gauge; conduct decay test before refrigerant release.
Charge refrigerant by weight; confirm subcooling/superheat as per commissioning charts.
Install and wire comms/power: ensure polarity, shielding, earthing, and segregation of signal/power cabling.
Address/group indoor units; set DIP switches/parameters; pair and configure wired/wireless controllers.
Use OEM tools (Toshiba Wave Tool / NFC, service checker) to read error logs, sensors, inverter status, and perform setup/firmware updates where applicable.
Integrate with BMS via gateways; verify alarms, I/O, and remote control logic as specified.
Execute test runs; log pressures, temperatures, fan speeds, currents, and system codes; complete commissioning checklists.
Conduct preventive maintenance: filter/coil cleaning, drain pan flushing, thermistor checks, fan bearings, controller health, firmware (if applicable).
Troubleshoot communication errors, thermistor faults, expansion valve issues, inverter/comp trips, and refrigerant leaks; escalate complex cases with evidence.
Prepare as‑built redlines and handover documentation; support client demonstration and operator training.
Maintain tools/instruments and calibration records; ensure tidy, safe worksites.
Must‑Have Qualifications
ITI/Diploma in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning or Electrical (or equivalent).
Experience: 2–5 years in VRF/VRV installation and commissioning (commercial projects).
Proven brazing/flaring skills with nitrogen purging; neat piping craftsmanship and insulation finishes.
Able to read isometric piping drawings and wiring schematics; understand electronic expansion valves and inverter compressors.
Hands‑on with vacuum pump, micron gauge, digital manifold, nitrogen kit, recovery unit, and charging scales.
Functional English/Hindi; Arabic is a plus. UAE transferable visa preferred.
Driving license will be an advantage.
Preferred (Nice to Have)
Toshiba VRF experience (SMMS‑e/SMMS‑u); other OEMs welcomed (Daikin/Mitsubishi/LG/Samsung).
BMS/BACnet/LON gateways exposure and controller addressing.
UAE light vehicle driving license.
F‑gas/refrigerant handling certification.
Experience in hospitality, retail, office towers, fit out or healthcare projects.
Skills & Tools
Diagnostic mindset; structured fault isolation and clear reporting.
Instrumentation: micron gauge (target ≤ 500 microns), clamp meter (with inrush), digital thermometers, anemometer.
Torque wrenches, eccentric flaring/swaging tools; pipe benders and reamers for quality joints.
Documentation discipline: checklists, test certificates, commissioning logs (basic MS Excel/Docs).
Professional etiquette and coordination in live/occupied spaces.
Safety & Compliance
Hot‑work permits and fire watch during brazing; portable extinguishers on site.
LOTO for electrical works; ladder/scaffold safety; confined‑ceiling and fresh‑air considerations.
Refrigerant safety and environmental compliance: recovery, leak logs, labeling, and proper disposal.
Follow manufacturer IOMs and local authority requirements at all times.
Employment Details

Compensation: Competitive, experience‑based.
Benefits: Visa, medical insurance, paid leave, OEM trainings.
